Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema presents the second, quarterly,
free “Face-to-Face with the Filmmaker” screening of the 2019 season.

INVIDENTE is an intensely personal and vibrant story, a documentary about BELO CIPRIANI who despite having lost his sight as a young adult is determined to conquer his goal to be a writer. Through emotional and physical barriers he perseveres and defeats all odds. Written by Belo Cipriani; original sound track by Jorge Molina (Trucho G)

Jose Garrotte, Director

A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute and long-time resident of Bernal Heights, Jose has shared previous examples of his work with our audiences, EYES OF THE SOUL (2004), INVIDENTE, work-in-progress (2015). His career as photographer/editor has spanned 20 years at KDTV Channel 14, Univision.
